Yesterday you smiled at me,
I stopped...I thought,
I was pleasingly happy.
Why don't we take the time
To sit, talk, laugh and love.
It was just yesterday
But, why not today, not tomorrow,
For life is too short...time too fast.
I see, hear and talk to you,
But you do not know.
I've carried it long silently,
And strong.
It happened, no time for explaining
Nor to examine.
Let it happen, for the pleasure
Will be ours together.

I came upon a meadow tucked hidden beyond the hill...
The long walk, I think, surely played tricks upon my eyes.
For in the midst there was an angel, a vision standing still.
Her beauty took all breath away, in reverence I stayed my ground.
I wondered how she came here, if she had fallen from the skies.
Her voice in song pure and golden, became the only sound.
I came to gather flowers and return beyond the hill....
Instead my heart became a prisoner and echoed plaintive cries.
My prayers they had been answered, beauty walks amongst us still.

Scents of the icy winter air,
with the door open as the wind blows thru.
I watch the snow fall to the earth
Soft and silent to cling to it's mate.
My mind drifting to thoughts of you,
wanting and needing your loving touch.
The taste of your kisses, the scent of your skin
the dance of our bodies, to feel you within.
Oh, how I wish we were together
here ~ there with the sweet sounds of the night.
Escaping all of life's turbulences.
Focusing only on our passion.
You and I, our lovemaking magic!
Sensual exquisite loving between you and me,
best friends, lovers, soul mates.
My body longing desperately for yours,
Exploding with pure ecstasy.
So I sit here alone, with only these thoughts.
Looking out of my window, arms around my body.
Closing my eyes, taking it all in ~
The breeze, the scents, a life with you....
..... my dreams now a reality.

They dared to dance the night away
Waiting to begin a brand new day
They laughed and talked into the night
Sipped their wine by candlelight
Two bodies held close in music's trance
Not wanting to end this one last dance
Two souls were met in love's embrace
As their bodies move in blissful grace
They noticed not who was around
As the music's rhythm did surround
Their feet barely touched the floor
As they begged the band for just one more
And as the music slowly ebbed away
They knew they'd be back another day
To share in love's gentle dance
For they have been given one more chance
