With the image you will be working with FIRST... go to your tool bar at the top. On effects, scroll down to "Geometric" and select "wave". Set up the settings as follows:
Vertical Displacement:
Amplitude: 2 (this can be played with a bit I tried 3 and liked it fairly well)
Wavelength: 20
Horizontal Displacement:
Amplitude: 0
Wavelength: 1 (2 can also be used..try various settings for effect)
Click ok. The go to "Selections" at the top menu bar and click on "Select None" this will make the dotted line disappear. Minimize this picture and activate the next one by maximizing it.
Again....choose the "effects" from the top menu bar...select "geometric" and then "wave" All settings will remain the same except vertical wavelength. Change this from 20 to 21. Minimize this picture.
Repeat this for the remaining picture or pictures and increasing the Vertical Wavelength amplitude by "1" each time, and going to "Selections" and choosing "Select None" for each picture. Minimizing each one when completed so you know where you are.
Maximize each picture......ONE AT A TIME! Go to "SAVE AS" and name the picture whatever you decided "waterfall 1" and save it as a PSP file. Close each one after you have saved them naming them as follows..."waterfall1.psp", "waterfall2.psp" etc. I do not close these or delete these right now, only minimize them so if I need to make changes I can go back and do so more easily by simply undoing and resaving under the same file name. Now time to animate.
Open the Animation Program while still in Paint Shop. Select "Animation Wizard" and set as follows:
Place a dot in the box that says "same as first image" if it is not already marked. Click "next"
Select "Transparent" and click "next"
Select "In the Upper Left corner" by placing checking the box.
The choose "With the canvas color" and leave the box at the bottom that says "Scale frames to fit" checked with a dot in the box. Then click "next".
Select "Yes run the animation indefinitely", then where it asks you how long you want it to be displayed...anything from 20 to 30 is good. This can be set to suit your taste. Click "next".

Now choose each image you are using for this animation. ONE AT A TIME IN THE ORDER you created them from where ever you have them saved. Load ALL 3 or 4 images into the box. Then click next. (I have a separate file just for psp files when making animations to make them easy to find without digging around a lot.)
When the Wizard has your animation completed, it will show as frames. Minimze that window with the frames, and go to "View" at the top menu bar. You should see your completed animation. If you are happy with it, save it, and name it whatever you would like. If you want to resize..now is the time to do that by selecting "animation" from the top menu bar and resizing it to suit your tastes, then saving it that way when you are happy with it. Remember to optmize if your image is very large.
